Glen will be taking over from Mark Sullivan, who joined the Company in 2017 following the Group\u2019s acquisition of Benfleet Forwarding Ltd and who will retire at the end of 2021. There will be a five-month handover period to ensure a smooth transition, with Mark assisting Glen in his new role from August 2021 until the end of the year.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining the Company, Glen held senior management roles at Yusen Logistics, an international freight forwarder. During his three-year period, partly as European Regional Head of Ocean Freight, Glen was also responsible as Managing Director for the turnaround of the loss-making division in Italy by shifting staff engagement from a transactional culture to value driven solutions. \u00a0Glen also fulfilled multiple senior positions at the UK division of DB Schenker. He was Regional Vice President of Ocean Product across North and East Europe from 2013 \u2013 2016.<\/p>\n
As previously announced in May 2021, in order to simplify the business, Xpediator is integrating the Group\u2019s subsidiary brands across all UK divisions under the Delamode brand. High calibre Senior management with experience in larger transport logistics businesses will be essential in successfully managing the enlarged UK freight forwarding business, as well as creating future growth opportunities for Delamode Anglia. \u00a0<\/p>\n
