How long have you been at Delamode?
I have worked at Delamode for the past 3 years. The first two I worked through an agency, then the previous year I was employed directly by Delamode International Logistics.
How would you describe your job in 3 words?
This is a very difficult question. Challenging, Motivating and Unforeseeable.
What is your day-to-day in your role?
In general, I deal with several departments. As a Team Leader, I am the link between the management and the team, so for the most part of the day I make sure that the team is ok, has all the resources to reach the target and the requirements of the day, plus I help management by solving the various issues which arise throughout the day.
What is your favourite part of your role?
What I love about my role is that I can say that I am a part of both teams because I work with both management and operatives. I love working with people and this role fits perfectly with that.
What led you to your current role?
As I mentioned, I started as an operative through an agency, and during the period I was offered the contract to work as an operative, the announcement was made for the new roles as Team Leader. I saw it as an opportunity to advance and to challenge myself, so I didn’t think twice and I applied. Now after a year, all I can say is that it was the best choice I could’ve made.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
I know it might sound like a cliché, but the person who has always inspired me and motivated me to become who I am is my mother. She is the strongest woman that I know and I will always try to follow her example.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I am a very sociable person and I love going out with friends and spending time with my family and relatives. I like walks in nature, I have a passion for dancing and I love photography. I like to be in front of the camera as well as behind it.
Where is your end goal for your career?
For me, end goal sounds very definite and I am the kind of person who tries to take everything step by step, so for now I think the next step in my career is Front Line Manager.
