What is your day to day in your role?
Import: Bulgaria and Turkey and Export: Turkey
Checking the manifests, entering everything in FCL, arranging customs clearances, GVMS, rates, sending RDI to Delamode Bulgaria. Invoicing, putting all the costs, planning domestic deliveries with different hauliers, different types of bookings for hauliers, customers to pick up the shipments from our warehouse or domestic deliveries to be arranged, sending POD to customers, sending c88 import documents or sending different types of documents they need.
Sending the manifests to ICC Rainham for the cargo that needs to offload there and sending them the labels plus keeping everyone informed from internal colleagues to customers and hauliers.
What is your favourite part of your role?
When I arrange the custom clearances, doing the GVMS and the job is complete is making me feel good, satisfied.
What led you to your current role?
Before I was working in Management in Optics and in the Airport part of the Management in an agency that works in World Duty Free, travel exclusive experience working with big brands.
I studied International Relationships and European Studies at University and I wanted to work in a company that is related to what I studied. Also I have completed a Masters degree in Human Resources Management in the Administration of Organisations.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is God, I am a Christian and is good to believe in something better than you.
I do believe this can be the biggest inspiration that someone can ever have, enjoying life with hope and joy in your heart, that only God can give.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like to spend time with my friends and family, travelling around, exploring new places, going shopping, cooking and talking with those close to me on the phone.
